1. Overview

TermiShell is designed as a local-first SSH, SFTP, monitoring, and automation tool. Most operational data stays on your device unless you choose to send it to a server or use a feature that requires remote verification.

2. Data Stored On Your Device

TermiShell may store the following data locally on your device:

  • Server profiles, host names or addresses, ports, usernames, and connection settings.
  • SSH passwords, private keys, host-key trust decisions, snippets, tasks, and migration backups.
  • Local app settings, selected language, Pro entitlement snapshots, and app-account tokens used to bind purchase validation to this installation.

Sensitive local values are intended to use iOS security features such as Keychain or encrypted local storage where applicable.

3. Data Sent To TermiShell Services

TermiShell services may receive limited data when you use website forms, purchase verification, or entitlement refresh. This may include email address, name, role, message, app-account token, product identifier, transaction identifier, verification result, request metadata such as IP address and user agent, and timestamps.

4. Apple Purchases

When you buy or restore Pro access through the App Store, Apple processes payment and purchase management under your Apple ID. TermiShell may send purchase identifiers and App Store verification data to TermiShell services so the server can validate the transaction with Apple and record the result. TermiShell does not receive your full Apple ID password or payment card details.

5. Server Connections

SSH and SFTP sessions connect to the servers you configure. TermiShell does not need to proxy your SSH traffic through TermiShell services for normal operation. Data exchanged with your own servers is governed by your server configuration and the policies of those server operators.

6. How We Use Data

We use data to provide the app, operate Pro access, validate purchases, respond to support requests, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

7. Sharing

We may share data with service providers that help operate the website, backend, purchase validation, support, security, or infrastructure. We may also disclose data if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal data.

8. Retention And Deletion

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, reset the app, or uninstall the app. Server-side waitlist, purchase verification, and audit records are retained as needed to operate the service, prevent fraud, resolve support issues, and meet legal or accounting obligations. You may request deletion by contacting us.

9. Children

TermiShell is intended for professional server administration workflows and is not directed to children. Do not use TermiShell if you are not old enough to consent to these terms in your jurisdiction.

10. Your Choices

You can avoid waitlist collection by not submitting the website form. You can manage App Store subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds through Apple. You can delete local profiles, keys, snippets, and backups inside the app or by removing the app from your device.

11. Contact

Privacy questions, access requests, and deletion requests can be sent to termi@vkoi.net.
